What is PTCL?
PTCL is Pakistan's incumbent telecom operator and the country's largest fixed-line broadband provider. It sells copper-based DSL broadband in almost every city and town, and fiber-to-the-home under the Flash Fiber brand in a growing number of areas. PTCL also runs much of Pakistan's international bandwidth, so its network affects almost every other ISP.

What speed should I get on PTCL?
DSL speed depends heavily on how far your home is from the exchange or cabinet: the longer the copper line, the lower the speed you can get. Flash Fiber is not limited by distance and gives much steadier results.
Your package speed is the maximum. A fair test is on a LAN cable at a quiet time. If you consistently get far less, collect screenshots of at least three results on different days before complaining.
Why is PTCL slow? Common problems and fixes
